Peter Pan Nursery is a pre-school nursery for children and families with additional needs.  It was founded by Gwan Sykes in 1985 and is now a registered charity run by a voluntary management committee.  The nursery is situated in Sherburn in Elmet (between Leeds and York in North Yorkshire).

The nursery has parking facilities at the front of the building and a large, safe outside play area with vegetable patch to the rear.

Peter Pan Nursery is registered with Ofsted to ensure that we achieve the highest standard of ‘care and education’ for all of our children.

Our Aim

At Peter Pan Nursery, we believe that every child should be given the same opportunities to achieve their full potential no matter what their starting point or ability.

We provide a warm, stimulating, safe environment in which children can thrive.

Who We Care For

Places are available for children with additional needs, disabilities, illness, learning difficulties, behavioural issues etc.  We also support children whose families are experiencing difficulties or are in need of respite and support.

Children are referred to us by either a healthcare professional or early years’ worker to ensure we’re supporting the families and helping the children who need us the most.  For advice on this, please contact the nursery to discuss your child’s individual needs.
